Vision
The Híbridos project was born from a desire to explore the various ritualistic forms of Brazil, its musicality and its movements, and to enrich a digital body of work aiming at a larger understanding of all those peoples and practices.
5 years long in the making, this research has been produced independently by Priscilla Telmon, Vincent Moon and Fernanda Abreu without any preconceived ideas. What was supposed to be a single film on a few Brazilian rituals ended up evolving into research on the various forms of cinema today in the digital age, in parallel to a large collection of more than 100 films on the spiritual rituals of the South-American giant.
Along with this website, you will also be able to encounter other forms of 'cinema' : a feature-length film showing at festival and cinema venues, live cinema experiments made in site-specific locations around the world, various immersive installations, a complete musical collection of 75 albums, and more to come...
This adventure would have not been possible without previous explorations by the great poetical researchers of Brazil over the past centuries - let's praise their names here, in no particular order:

We want to thank all those wonderful people for paving the way, for exploring the tropical land over years to document and to poetize again and again. Híbridos is also an homage to all of them. Obrigado. Saravá, minhas mães! Saravá, meus pais!
Along the roads of Brazil, we have always been welcomed with open hearts by so many friends and beautiful souls it would be impossible here to mention all their names. Our spiritual adventure has been shared with all those mediums, masters, devotees, believers, healers, inventors and spirits. Híbridos is dedicated to all of them, to the land named Brasil, and its living beings.
In keeping with the spiritual ethos, and following our previous research into music around the planet, the Híbridos project is released entirely under a free Creative Commons licence, allowing people to share and keep the movement of natural patterns. Please touch !
Petites Planètes is an ongoing project comprised of films, music recordings, cinema performances, immersive installations, and photographic artworks.
An independent production company created by french artists Priscilla Telmon and Vincent Moon, Collection Petites Planètes' aim is to explore the boundaries between cinema, music, and expanded forms of modern rituals. Our vision moves between the realms of documentary creation, ethnographic research, and filmic experimentation.
In exploring the poetry at heart of personal and collective rituals, we have undertaken filming and expeditions to every continent to collaborate with hundreds of communities around the world.
We believe in a society where local practices are preserved and celebrated, while global identities are merging towards a higher level of consciousness.
We are working towards such an evolution, by bringing people into new forms of relationships with art forms and the sacred, and by diving ourselves into as many trance states.
Our work is shared under a Creative Commons licence, making it available to everybody, acknowledging the fact that we are only bridges between spiritual and material realities and that we are in no way creating from scratch.
Our location is constantly changing, according to the projects we are working on and the encounters we make. We have faith in the impromptu, the accident, the collaboration to evolve together. We improvise much of our projects, diving into the unknown following our intuitions.
We are all descendants of peoples who knew how to care for living things. The sole aim of our practice is to continue celebrating the cycle of life, as an constant ritual. All we need is to re-open our eyes and senses to it.
