The Roncador Sanctuary

A gravitational force around planet Earth, a force that builds up within the planet. Life is, after all, an orchestra guided by growing and moving energies. Vortices on the ground where we live concentrate-mix-approximate-signal new possibilities for the world: physical can be closer to spiritual.

The masters at Venerável Loja Branca emanate their messages of deliverance from the planet’s core to those who can hear it and share it. From her left ear, the 60-something woman from Mato Grosso state can hear it all: her name is Deusa, or Deuzinha for those who are closer to her. She’s a member of Fraternidade Branca, a group of superior beings caring for the path and evolution of humankind and our planet.

“Women have a prominent role

at every turn of an era”

João Carlos, Santuário do Roncador

And only a woman could be the spiritual guide at this place that ranks as one of the main points of energy concentration in the world. Superior, internal, spiritual, and initiatory knowledge: Gnosis, the philosophy/procession of faith by which people in Roncador live and study, preaches the reclaiming of Sacred Feminine celebrations during a time when women have been removed from the important role of spiritual leaders. They must speak again, emanate good energies again, and wish everyone only good things again.

That’s because we need it! We are living this important phase when an era is turning and we must seek guidance and orientation in order to evolve on our search for love, tenderness, health, and harmony: according to Gnosis, these are chiefly feminine abilities. And Santuário do Roncador reveals itself as a route for recovering and rebuilding toward a new time, it’s a center for spiritual energy that’s open to people from all races, beliefs, or religions.

It takes crossing over one hundred and eighty miles of bumpy roads in the backcountry of a state located in the heart of Brazil. It’s a long way until Serra do Roncador can be seen: the center-most point in the country, a barely known jungle with impressive rock formations. When the air squeezes through the narrows of the rocks, a deep snoring sound takes over, mainly, the nights. This is the sound that names the place and serves as a background noise for many stories about magical beings and communities.

This place was chosen by Sanat Kumara, Saint-German, Septenefille, and Samael Aum Weor: the four Masters of the Venerável Loja Branca who summoned Deuzinha to be the Vestal at this temple, that is, its guardian. The architecture, as much as the geography, presents itself as another invitation to fantastic experiences: a castle with four houses with colorful pointed roofs, a temple beneath a cave, and two suspended pyramids – two pyramids weighing over eight hundred pounds… suspended on air.

“Gnosis is born from a very simple desire:

knowing who we are”

João Carlos, Santuário do Roncador

Deuzinha helps people by reading their auras, especially during the open rituals at the Sanctuary, with a special focus on the Incan New Year celebrations, the coming of spring. Every month of September, approximately two hundred people from all over the world arrive seeking good energy, seeking cure, and seeking alignment with Machu Picchu. Paired on the globe and in Gnosis, each of these places holds an important share of the history of humankind.

Bells ring before and after the ritual, which starts at 7pm in the grotto-temple where the sound of the wind becomes an orchestra for the ceremonial chants. Everyone is wearing white and fasting: seven days of no sexual relations, seven days of no meat. Burning incenses welcome guests as scarcely placed candles light the way towards the next stage. One by one, Deuzinha examines their auras and emanates the energy of evolution.

“Many come in search of physical cure and fall in love with the energy”

 João Carlos, Santuário do Roncador

Bodies lying on the ground beneath the pyramids. Cotton balls doused in bodily fluids. Tales of cure spread with the snoring sounds of this magical place: secret and accessible, the Sanctuary and Deusa, its goddess, have taken over many Brazils and worlds in search of discovery and improvement. Healed bodies or enchanted souls, from within the Earth or orbiting around the planet: a new energy transforms those who stay there overnight.
